Our adventure

SUNDAY 6 NOVEMBER 2011 

Our adventure, written by Charlotte Gielen.

It was Sunday in the morning
and I invited Gitte to come over to my place. I was very excited because it was the fist time that she came to my house. I baked some waffles, because I know Gitte loves waffles! When she arrived the first thing we did was jumping on the trampoline because Gitte doesn’t have one at home.


Then we went for a walk. A LONG WALK! We took some photo’s on our way and we went to a place called ‘Berkven’. It is some sort of youth movement just like the ‘Chiro’ or the ‘Scouts’. There our adventure started .
We climbed on a football goal. For me that was a little painful...

We saw some donkeys in the meadow across ‘Berkven’. First they didn’t know that we were coming but as soon as they saw the fresh grass, they ran to us.

We started to feed them grass. They were a little bit aggressive, or even very aggressive. One of them almost ate my hand instead of the grass (OUCH !)
We decided to leave the donkeys, because they were boring and take some other pictures.

Suddenly we heard something. Neither of us recognized the sound, so we went on. But then we saw where the strange sound was coming from (check the photo)... It was a calf that was looking for his mom in a meadow. It was just like a little pig that was screaming very loud!

We thought our walk was over after this adventure. But suddenly it started to rain. We ran home an filmed funny movies on Gitte’s mobile. We made lots of fun and laughed all the time! It was a wonderful day, I would do it over immediately!
